"Did you know that only 30% of a goat's fleece is used in mainstream cashmere products? The coarser top layer of fibre (which protects the coveted undercoat) is usually wasted. Elgin-based brand Ava Innes realised there was value in this so-classed guard hair, blending it with Scottish wool to develop a sustainable filling for bedding. It's naturally weighted and excellent at regulating body temperature."
